Easy Wiki Creation

Creating a wiki is an easy way to develop web pages.

A wiki is a group of web pages created and edited by one person (or a group of people) that allow for easy access and editing via a web browser. The pages contain text but they also support links and other forms of markup language.

Google said that it has tried to move away from using the term “wiki,” instead preferring to portray the type of site popularized by Wikipedia as just another part of what a Web page can contain. It’s as easy to edit as a wiki, but looks as good as a Web site. One of the challenges of wikis, even though working with them is easier than working with HTML, is that they’re built by IT for IT, and not with the end-user experience in mind. There shouldn’t be a distinction between wikis and sites.

The term ‘wiki’ is commonly used to describe a set of interconnected web pages that can be edited by multiple users on the Internet. As described by Louridas (2006), however, the term also refers to the software that enables this open editing and the philosophy surrounding how users edit
information.Famous wikis such as Wikipedia have helped change the perception of the
World Wide Web as an online information platform to that of an interactive and
participatory space.Wikis and virtual communities of practice in general have been described as
important knowledge management tools.

This is just another reason why I like your website. I like your style of writing you tell your stories without out sending us to 5 other sites to complete the story. Actuarial Software

Awesome! I love wikis and it’s great to see them on a college level instead of just having THE wikipedia.com dominate the world.
